Three free pilots before the battery passport becomes mandatory

For EU manufacturers and importers of LMT and industrial batteries. We build your battery passports from the documents you already have, publish the QR codes and check the label on your own printer. Three months of the Industrial plan, at no cost. In return, you let us publish a short case study that you approve first.

Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, Article 77 and Annex XIII: mandatory from 18 February 2027.

What you get

  • 3 months of the Industrial plan (€299/month list price) with no card and no automatic renewal.
  • Setup done by us. Send your datasheets, test reports or spreadsheets. We run the extraction, review every field with you and mark what is found, estimated or missing, with the page it comes from.
  • Published passports on dpp.veripass.ie with a GS1 Digital Link QR code for each battery model in the pilot.
  • Label check on your printer. ZPL code at 40 × 47 mm, 203 dpi, and a CMYK PDF. You print one and send us a photo; we adjust until it scans.
  • Your files stay yours. During the pilot you can download, for each published battery lot, the QR code (SVG, PNG), the CMYK PDF, the ZPL label, the A4 label sheet and the data summary PDF.

What we ask in return

  • A short case study with one measured result, for example minutes per battery model. You approve the text before anything is published.
  • Use of your company name and logo on veripass.ie next to that case study, once approved.
  • 15 minutes of feedback a week by call or email during the pilot.
  • A go or no-go answer on day 14 about continuing the pilot.

Built for production volumes

  • Lot and serial level. The public resolver answers GS1 Digital Link paths per lot (AI 10), per serial number (AI 21) and lot plus serial: /01/{GTIN}/10/{lot}, /01/{GTIN}/21/{serial}.
  • Several battery models per account, within the limit of your plan.
  • Factory-line labels. Native ZPL II for Zebra thermal printers at 40 × 47 mm and 203 dpi, plus a vector CMYK PDF (K=100) for print shops.
  • Label sheets of 1 to 100 labels per download on A4, 24 per page.
  • Public passport in 26 languages: the 24 official EU languages plus Simplified and Traditional Chinese, so your Asian suppliers read the same fields.

White label on the Pro plan

  • Your company name on the label instead of the Veripass line.
  • No Veripass link on your public passport pages. The neutral legal footer stays: it names your company as the economic operator responsible for the data.

Who can apply

  • You place LMT batteries (e-bikes, e-scooters) or industrial batteries above 2 kWh on the EU market, as manufacturer, importer or authorised representative.
  • You have at least one datasheet or test report per battery model you want in the pilot.
  • Someone in your company can approve a case study and the use of your logo.

If more than three companies qualify, we choose by order of request and by how soon your batteries are affected. Everyone else joins a waiting list and can use the free one-hour sandbox at app.veripass.ie in the meantime.

How the first 14 days run

  1. Days 1 to 2You send documents for up to 5 battery models. We load them.
  2. Days 3 to 7Extraction of the Annex XIII fields, each with its source page.
  3. Day 830-minute review call: what is complete and what your suppliers must still provide.
  4. Days 9 to 12Passports published, QR codes and labels printed on your printer.
  5. Day 14You decide whether to continue the remaining pilot months.

Plain terms

  • No payment details are requested. The pilot does not turn into a paid plan unless you subscribe yourself.
  • You remain the economic operator responsible for the passport data. Veripass is the tool; it does not certify conformity.
  • Nothing about your company is published until you approve it in writing. You can ask us to stop new uses of your logo at any time.
  • At the end you can subscribe at the published prices, with the LANZAMIENTO code for 25% off the yearly plan, or download your label and summary files and leave.
  • Personal data from this form is handled as described in our privacy notice.
